Withdrawal period

Consumers may generally withdraw from a distance service contract without giving reasons within 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.

How to withdraw

It is sufficient to send an unequivocal statement to (Email) before the deadline. The model form below may be used but is not mandatory.

Effects of withdrawal

Following a valid withdrawal, payments received are returned within the statutory period, normally to the original payment method, less only amounts permitted by law.

Service starting within 14 days

If the appointment is to take place before the 14-day period expires, the consumer must separately and expressly request early performance. Booking or starting the service does not by itself end the withdrawal right. For a service, the right may expire only after full performance where the consumer expressly acknowledged in advance that full performance would cause the right to be lost.

Partial performance

If the consumer validly requested early performance and withdraws before the service is fully completed, proportionate payment may be due only for the part actually supplied and only where the statutory conditions are met.

Difference from appointment cancellation

Statutory withdrawal and contractual appointment cancellation are separate rights. The cancellation policy does not restrict a mandatory withdrawal right while that right applies. Statutory exceptions remain reserved.
